Missing parts from a shipment will ruin any #whatsinthebox Instagram post. If you believe you were short-shipped, here is what to do first:
- Open the box. Examine the contents thoroughly. This may require opening boxes inside the main shipping box, because sometimes we package multiple items this way to save space and make the delivery safer. Please, don't judge the box contents by the outside only! (Yes, it seems obvious. Yet we regularly get panicked calls and emails from people who have not taken this step.)
- Inspect the packing material. All the paper, peanuts, wadded up JDM newspaper, and/or bubble wrap can be hiding smaller pieces. During transit, these shipping companies move these packages A LOT so we add packing material to keep things safe, and sometimes the contents gets moved around and parts become concealed within packing material.
- Is another shipment coming? Often times, orders with multiple items will have multiple shipments. Your "missing" item could be coming on another shipment, maybe even with a different carrier! To find out if another package is coming, or maybe not even shipped yet, review your order history at www.heeltoeauto.com to see when you should see more parts coming later.
- HT Cornering TIP: If you have asked us to combine two orders into one shipment, review updates on both orders.
- Ok Heeltoe, something is definitely missing. After you have:
- Opened the box completely.
- Inspected any packing material.
- Checked to make sure the delivery was supposed to be complete.
Something very well could be missing!
Don't worry, Heeltoe is in your corner to get this solved.
